Position Title: Senior Test Analyst (IBS013)
Responsible for product testing, certification and partner testing including preparing test cases based on customer requirements, and scheduling and executing test cases based on customers priorities and resource availability. Perform interface certification, end to end testing, and go-live testing. Conduct message shakeout testing in sandbox environments. Generate test reports and log defects as per the company’s defined standards. Prepare and maintain traceability matrices for test cases with requirements and design documentation. Perform regression tests prior to major product releases, and smoke tests post all releases. Review and troubleshoot production support issues reported by customers based on the priority and severity of issues. Perform analysis of XML logs, and conduct joint tests with customers to isolate issues. Perform root cause analysis and report the results to clients. Attend meetings with clients periodically to review progress and provide status updates of any open issues. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
Requires Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or a related field plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related IT or engineering role. Requires one (1) year of experience in the following: OTA (Open Travel Alliance ) standard messages for the hospitality industry; availability restriction strategies; rate management strategies; Central Reservation Systems (CRS) and Property Management Systems (PMS); implementation of API integrations; software quality assurance; software development life cycle; Jira; white box and black box testing; and WATIN and WAPT tools. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related IT or engineering role in lieu of a Master’s degree plus one (1) year of Experience in the job offered or a related IT or engineering role. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
